The Modern Sweater-Slouchy Knits

So this sweater isn't exactly vintage but it's definitely one of my favorite sweaters at the moment! I picked this sweater up for the shop recently and had a hard time parting with it!  It has the perfect amount of slouch and the pattern is perfect. I would wear this over a black fitted mini skirt or leather leggings. You can find this sweater at my shop We Move Vintage.

I want! I want!

So I know this isn't a sweater but I just couldn't help but point this amazing piece of art. Kenzo sweaters and tops have been popping up all over Paris fashion week. Their items are incredible statement pieces. This particular sweatshirt has so much style that I can't even handle it. I love everything about this sweatshirt from the bold graphic logo to the silhouette. I also love the way the Kenzo team styled this whole look.

I love to browse through etsy hunting for the perfect sweater. It's a great place to find exactly what you are looking for.

I found this sweater today in an awesome shop called Ruby in the Dust Vintage.

This sweater has the most amazing pattern and shape. It has a great long draped fit and is perfect for fall. I can imagine wearing it over some skinny trousers and sky high platforms! 

The Vintage Sweater Vest

I can't believe that Fall is finally around the corner! Sweater season will finally be here and I could not be happier. Southern California has been painfully hot and pretty unbearable lately. So unfortunately sweaters have been out of the question for some time.

Vests are going to make a great comeback this fall. I have already started a mini vest collection including denim, leather and knit.

The vest above is the latest sweater knit from my collection. This vest has a great pattern, boxy fit and an awesome silhouette. It really gives new meaning to the sweater vest phenomenon from the 80's. I would wear it over skinny trousers or a mini dress.

Outfit 2-The Slouchy Sweater Vest

Vests are a great pre-fall item. They can be draped over everything and add the perfect top layer to your ensemble. Today I am wearing a 70's slouchy sweater vest. I found this item not long ago and I  am already layering it over everything! 

Unfortunately the heat is still going strong in Southern California and there is no pre-fall weather in sight. Luckily this vest allows me to add a sweater element to my look without adding too much heat!
